Letters From The Road

As part of our efforts to keep in touch and share our journey with friends and family, we have been sending out semi-regular e-mail updates of our experiences. Unfortunately, the list of recipients is so long that we've had some of them get lost in junk mail filters. We've also had people ask to be added to the list after we left or met new people on the road who've missed some of the first few. So we finally decided to add a letter section to the site (despite being almost a month behind on just the updates we'd already planned to do). So now all of our previously sent e-mails will be viewable here. We hope to get new e-mails posted to the site within a week of actually sending them out.

I (Adrienne) would like to mention that I am considering writing a travel book on our journey, and these letters will be the basis of the outline. To that extent, I was a little hesitant to publish them here. But here they are. So I would kindly and graciously request that you not copy any portion or use them in any other forum or publication. If you'd like to share them with someone else, just point them to this site. If you have a publication that is interested in printing them, please contact me via e-mail. Thank you very much for your consideration.

Finally, for those of you who may not be familiar with my writing style versus Jeff's, the trick to determining who actually wrote the letter (and this is true for e-mail correspondence as well), is to look at the signature. If it's from "Adrienne & Jeff", Adrienne wrote it, and if it's from "Jeff & Adrienne", Jeff wrote it. We always sign our own name first.
