Jeff and I went to South America in 2001 for our five year wedding anniversary. Stops included:
- 3 days at Kapawi Rainforest Ecolodge (one of the true "ecolodges" in the area)
- 10 days on the Galapagos Islands (7 on a boat and 3 on Santa Cruz island)
- 3 days in Quito, the Ecuadorian capital
- 3 days in Cuzco
- 2 days in Machu Picchu
With time lost traveling and 1/2 days here and there, the whole trip was about 3 1/2 weeks. (By the way, we were in the Galapagos on 9/11/01.)
