What moves you? What awakens your spirit? What makes your blood boil? Often these questions are very related. As emotional beings, we generally get upset when that which we consider sacred is in some way defiled or abused. Naturally, many of my "rants" revolve around environmental injustices. However, this page is not meant as an area for me to let off steam about what's bothering me in the world. It is a forum to challenge the current thinking on certain issues by providing clearly thought-out, intellectual positions complete with alternative solutions. It is never enough to criticize something without having at least an idea of how to improve it. With that in mind, let the ranting begin. May you find my views enlightening and perhaps even influential (or if not, well, then I'll settle for entertaining).

According to this logic, we should not try to prevent people from murdering other people, since this has also been done since the earliest of times." --Isaac Bashevis Singer
